Paria Waterfall

This is a scenic trek through the forest that passes along the Paria Beach to the Paria Waterfall. With a beautiful deep plunge pool at the waterfall, this is definitely worth the effort as the trek can range from 2 1/2 to 3 hours one way. Along the trail you can stop off at Turtle rock and luckily view the green turtles enjoying the waves below.

This is a short 30 minute up hill trek to the pines at Mt. Tabor. At the top, you can inhale the invigorating pine fresh air and enjoy the serenity. The view is absolutely breathtaking and some even climb the fire tower for a panoramic view of the Western and Central parts of the island.

Edith Falls Trail

This 25 minute trek leads you to a beautiful tall waterfall. Situated in Chaguaramas, this is a good place to visit with family and friends as it is mostly flat and relatively easy to do. The waterfall has a shallow pool but not suitable for bathing however you can stand under the cascades and cool down nicely.

Go for the waves, the sun, the Bake and Shark (in my case the Bake and Shrimp) and the fun! Pristine waters on a good day!
