Two great hiking trails only about 15 minutes from my home. One is about 5.5 miles long, the other about 1.5 miles. Both have some good hills and generally not very busy.

Ann Arbor rocks! There is always something to see or do, all within a 30 minute drive of my home. In season, football, basketball teams, many lecture series, music and dance performances too. Downtown Ann Arbor on Main Street is great for an afternoon stroll too, and for shopping and many fantastic restaurant choices there too!

Ann Arbor rocks! There is always something to see or do, all within a 30 minute drive of my home. In season, football, basketball teams, many lecture series, music and dance performances too. Downtown Ann Arbor on Main Street is great for an afternoon stroll too, and for shopping and many fantastic restaurant choices there too!
I live about an hour from Detroit (more during rush hour). The four Sports teams are all there (Lions, Tigers, Redwings and Pistons) and there are many live music venues and restaurants. The riverfront area is great in the summer months too, for walking along the Detroit River and seeing Windsor, Ontario, Canada across the border.
