One of our favourite things to do on a rainy day in Vancouver. Bloedel is a domed tropical floral conservatory and aviary built in 1966 at the top of Queen Elizabeth Park. The perfect place to take a coffee and have a little vacation from the rain.

VanDusen is a 55 acre garden that moves through different environments with trails, water features and various artwork. Alternatively to Bloedel, this is a beautiful place to go for a walk or take a picnic on a nice day. It’s open year-round and large enough that you shouldn’t have to fight any crowds. It’s also well know for its holiday display.
