This hike/bike trail goes all the way around Lunken Airport, a small airport near our house. The trail connects with the Armleder Park trails (see below.) At historic Lunken airport you will find the Sky Galley restaurant where it’s fun to watch small planes take off and land.

Parks & Nature

You can see Armleder Park from our second floor deck- just down the hill, but a tricky drive. Armleder has bike/hike trails that go to the Little Miami River, and connect with the Lunken bike trail. We like to sit and read (or wade) by the Little Miami, and we have also canoed from there.

We have to start here, since it’s right up the hill. Lovely park, with formal gardens you can stroll through, or wooded trails for hiking (see trail map in your room.) We try to drive through Ault Park to get almost anywhere.
