My favorite restaurants
In case you want to try Moldovan food, one of the best traditional restaurants is right on the left of the block gates, it is “Roata Vremii Restaurant”. It accepts credit cards and cash (like most of the places in Chisinau)
If you want Italian/European food you can take a taxi to “Cafe de Italia” which is right in the city center only 13 minutes from the apartment (located on bd. Grigore Vieru 17/1). The taxi will cost you around 60 lei (3 Euro).
If you are healthy food lover, as I am go there.
They will surprise you with a indoor fireplace and a great service. It is a family business so each dish they brought from their trips across the Europe.

Even though Chisinau is a city it can be considered the "wine center" of Moldova. There are many wineries in Chisinau and around Chisinau. The city offers a possibility to taste practically any wine made in Moldova. It can be done in many restaurants, specialized wine bars and wine shops; moreover, every supermarket has a wine department with a reach choice of Moldovan wines.

In less than 30 minutes' drive from city center the most famous cellars of Moldova can be reached: Cricova and Milestii Mici. Those are real underground cities of wine that can be entered by car and that store the world's largest wine collections, confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records. Guests are invited to visit those cellars and to taste the wines.
That's one of the top points of interest why a lot of the tourists are coming to Moldova every year. I am sure you will wanna see one of the biggest wine cellar in the WORLD :)

Do you like jogging or running in a park?
There are 19 parks in total in Chisinau. The oldest park "Stefan cel Mare Pubic Garden" was set up in 1818 and is one of the oldest landscape architecture monuments in Moldova. Chisinau has thematic parks such as Botanic Garden and Dendrarium, where rare flora species can be admired.
Just enjoy it, you will be surprised, more over this place is located at only 5 minutes by taxi.

Where to buy food?
You need only to cross the street and you will find “Linella supermarket” where you will find all you need.
It is the biggest supermarket in the town so go there if you need any specific goods.
They have any product from all European countries.
