Boat Trips

Short boat trips through Poole Harbour.
Site of the worlds first Scout camp in 1907. Walk to the Quay, then a short boat trip and a walk through the woods to see the Peacocks and RED squirrels. It makes a great long half day out. It also has a loverly little church in the woods with an old fashioned hand pump organ.

Sightseeing

This is a great adventure across the harbour and up the River Frome to the Saxon town. Loverly pub on the Quay or in the town. A walk up the high street to the little St Martins church on the town wall, is a must. If not open, get the key from the Gents Outfitters over the road, worth a visit in its own right. Note: Check tide times the day before you go.
