Go sailing, kite surfing or paddling, hire a canoe or kayak and explore the expansive waters of Lake Cootharaba. The lake is home to windsurfing and yachting competitions and is part of the Noosa River system that leads to the gateway to the upper Noosa River, the Everglades and the Great Sandy National Park. Lake Cootharaba, the largest lake on the Noosa River, is 25km around the perimeter and is the perfect spot for camping, fishing and sailing in a pristine and untouched natural environment and home to a variety of spectacular wildlife.

Kanu Kapers Australia is an adventure-based activity centre offering guided and self-guided kayak and canoe tours through the Noosa Everglades. We also offer white water canoe and kayak adventures for individuals and groups throughout Australia. We are based just north of Noosa in beautiful Boreen Point on the picturesque Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The area is renowned for its plant, animal and bird life as well as its spectacular scenery.

Enjoy the spectacular Noosa hinterland countryside on The Noosa Trail Network. Trails are well signposted, with picnic shelters, water tanks, interpretative signs and scenic lookouts. The trails vary in length and across a range of terrain catering to all fitness levels. The trails enable visitors to learn more about the history, flora and fauna of the Noosa Trail Network whilst exploring Noosa's stunning hinterland.
