This is a local food market where you can buy fresh groceries and eat out. It's lovely to eat in front of during the day in the sunshine and you can get good quality fresh food. I especially recommend the Italian and the French place, for there whole hearted as well as sweet savories.

At Südstern there is a weekly whole foods market every Saturday from 10am to 16pm. We really like it because it's small, regional and not as crowded as other nice markets.

It's a walk of about 15-20 minutes to Tempelhofer Feld, but if you enjoy large empty spaces this right here is your place to be. There is a Biergarten on there, places to play volleyball etc. some designated barbecue areas and gardening projects as well as a minigolf with rather unusual stops.
