Part of the city's fortifications, Castillo San Cristobal is smaller than El Morro and thus a tad more managable.

A great place to walk in Old San Juan especially at sunset. You never really appreciate the layout of Old San Juan until you have seen it from the paseo!

Like the Paseo de Princesa, seeing the city from its original city gate puts all in perspective. Originally people arrived in San Juan by water and the layout of the city makes the most sense when you relive that experience. Again-- sunset it a great time to visit
