This is a place where you will enjoy the atmosphere but also very nice food. I strongly recommend this place. You will also enjoy that it is not super touristy, it is a local place to go.

Go to this place to ask about the typical traditional sweets such as rakvička, větrník or indián. They will have all of it or some of it, depends on the day, but surely it will be delicious. Great coffee too.

If you want to have at least little tiny bit of understanding what restaurants and pubs looked like during communism, come to see this place. The food and the service is very much the same like 25 years ago. Meaning this is more cultural then gourmet kind of experience.

This bistro is always full of local people around lunch time which is the only meal they offer, no breakfast or dinner. Bistro has fresh offer of vegan food for excellent price. I love to go there as they are so friendly there, I like what kind of people go there and the food is great for good price.

This is a square near by and it has really rich life on its own. There is great and very unusual church in the middle of it that you must see. It is 100 years old church designed by Josip Plečnik, Slovenian architect invited by our first president Tomáš Masaryk to do mainly a lot of work on the Prague Castle, but he also did this very futuristic looking church. Every day from Wednesday to Saturday there is a market with artisan foods, vegetables and flowers where it is so much fun to go. You must go there for shopping and food tasting.

The TV tower - great view, there is also cafe and restaurant. I must worn you that both the entrance fee and the restaurant is bit costly. On the TV tower there are huge statues of small children by localy famous artist David Černý.
If you do not want to give the money and you are here during warm months of the year go there at least to enjoy coffee or food right under it. There is another restaurant there called MIMINO which is perfect in hot weather as you sit in the park. Just love it there.

There is a church inside an apartment building. Just the whole street Korunní and also Vinohradska is beautiful just because of the architecture of the houses, but this is quite rare.
