Stunning location, just on the lagoon the outside, perfect for both a family or a romantic dinner, with an old industrial looking the inside. Simple but good dinner, as they are the Fishermen of Orbetello Lagoon. Plastic dishes and glasses, take it or leave it, but absolutely worth at least for the location, and the typical preparations you will not find elsewhere.

Excellent pasta dishes, about the best we know in the area. It is not cheap though, but definitely worth a visit.

It is an old wooden cabana, now refurbished, with an enormous fire side, and typical local food . . . the price range is fair, as you may have a whole, and we mean really whole meal for about 30 euros. Not always open, reservation is advised. Not easy to find as it is just in the middle of the country and no indications. Give it a trial, you won't be disappointed

All in all, it has been in the last few years our favorite place where to go to have a dinner. Paola, the receptionist and daughter of the cook, it is a welcoming smiling person. All vegetables served are self produced, like the olive oil, we love alla salads, grilled vegetables, zucchine marinate, parmigiana di melanzane. A specialty is the chicken, tender and juicy but with fatless and crunchy skin. Also Pici or Spaghettini all'Aglione (garlic flavor) are a must. Prices are b/w 25 and 30 and if you tell Paola you're our guest you get a fair discount

The town is the highest place in a huge area, the Castel's tower and the along-the-wall-walk offer a unique view on the cost, the inland, the Monte Argentario Peninsula. There are the best known restaurants around, too many to mention.

Don't forget the Basilica di San Pietro, and his crypt with 50 small columns al made one by one. It hosted several movie locations, among which in 1966, Mario Monicelli's L'armata Brancaleone; Otello by and with Orson Welles (1952), Uccellacci e Uccellini by Pier Paolo Pasolini (1966), Romeo e Giulietta by Franco Zeffirelli (1968), Nostalghia by Andrej Tarkovskij (1983), Francesco by Liliana Cavani (1989).

It takes exactly 30 minutes driving time from our gate, to reach there. Four big pools at decreasing temperature, a superb open and panoramic location, always fresh and windy, which with a water from 42 to 30 degrees is quite pleasant Bath robe towel son umbrella and sun bed are included in price. It is also possible to have drinks and good snacks at fair price. Please notice that with our coupon you'll have a discount on the entrance: 15€ instead of 17 in week days. Avoid week ends as it is crowded and go not later than 11/12 in the morning for the same reason.
