Fushimi Inari Taisya Shrine is unlike other shrine in Japan. The shrine is rated as the top destination of Japan in Trip adviser. There are more than 1,000 red gates called Trii. To get through all the gates, you need to do 6km of hiking, but I am pretty sure you won’t get bored with the hiking. The view is absolutely breathtaking. That’s why I visit this shrine every year :p
