Getting around
Car hire
I recommend booking car hire in advance in Launceston. I’ve also found there are better deals available over the phone rather than online bookings. ‘A total car hire’ is usually the cheapest option and really good. I’ve heard the most good things about Avis. Good luck
Getting around
Ubar is cheaper
Ubar’s are a little cheaper and easier for getting around than taxi’s if you don’t have a car. I’d recommend getting the app.

I’d recommend using the easy park app throughout Tasmania for metered street parking as the metres here can be hard to navigate.
