Our favorite Japanese food! Traditional Japanese seafood with creative twists served in a cozy, stylish, bamboo-accented space. They take early reservations otherwise you can put your name in and wait if your not in a hurry. Open for dinner only, closed on Sundays

If you want to venture into Waikiki this is a fun spot. You can valet park for $10 if you are eating at the restaurant then go walk around or head down to the beach. It sits off the regular hotel strip...thats one of the things we like about it. Great food and drink, great staff and a fun, local-retro surf vibe. Located in the new Surfjack Hotel in Waikiki. Restauranteur Ed Kenney's latest project.

Parks & Nature

This is a great ridge hike just up the hill from the house! You can look over into Palolo Valley and down to Waikiki swell as into Kahala Valley on the other side. It goes all the way up to the top of the Ko'olau's or you can just hike as little as 10-15min to get great views:) The entrance is off of Maunalani Circle.
