Paines Creek Beach in Brewster is a picture-perfect gem (1.9 miles from our house). Water from the creek flows into the bay at high tide. At low tide, the shore extends for a significant distance before reaching the surf, for exquisite strolling.

Paines Creek Landing and Beach

Crosby Landing is a beautiful bay beach located a short distance off Route 6A heading east towards Orleans (6.2 miles from our house). One of the larger Brewster beaches, it offers scenic views of Cape Cod Bay, warm water, and great parking. It is located within walking distance of Nickerson State Park. Farther east off Route 6A, is Crosby Beach, which is ideal for beach walkers. Nice sand.

Crosby Landing Beach
Crosby LnCrosby Landing is a beautiful bay beach located a short distance off Route 6A heading east towards Orleans (6.2 miles from our house). One of the larger Brewster beaches, it offers scenic views of Cape Cod Bay, warm water, and great parking. It is located within walking distance of Nickerson State Park. Farther east off Route 6A, is Crosby Beach, which is ideal for beach walkers. Nice sand.
(11 miles from our house.) Beautiful sunrises, excellent bass and blues fishing, surfing, sunbathing, swimming in cool ocean waters. Despite its size, the large parking lot occasionally fills up when the sun is strong. Best to arrive early, or in the late afternoon. The beach is open to off-road vehicles with a special permit. Attendant on duty. Really long beach. Very popular. Great waves. Nice sand.

Nauset Beach
250 Beach Rd(11 miles from our house.) Beautiful sunrises, excellent bass and blues fishing, surfing, sunbathing, swimming in cool ocean waters. Despite its size, the large parking lot occasionally fills up when the sun is strong. Best to arrive early, or in the late afternoon. The beach is open to off-road vehicles with a special permit. Attendant on duty. Really long beach. Very popular. Great waves. Nice sand.

Part of the National Seashore, Coast Guard Beach in Eastham is perfect example of the glory of Cape Cod beaches (often recognized as one of the top 10 on various lists of America’s best beaches). This expansive beach has beautiful dunes, marshlands and a fabulous view. Though popular, if you are willing to walk a little you can easily find a spot not inundated with towels and umbrellas. Large waves make this a great spot for boogie-boards and surfing. Watch for the seals.
Limited parking here for residents only. Park at the Little Creek parking lot on Doane Road and take the free shuttle to the beach. Shuttle runs every 5-10 minutes, drops off at beach – short walk after. Drop off and pick up at the beach is prohibited.

Part of the National Seashore, Coast Guard Beach in Eastham is perfect example of the glory of Cape Cod beaches (often recognized as one of the top 10 on various lists of America’s best beaches). This expansive beach has beautiful dunes, marshlands and a fabulous view. Though popular, if you are willing to walk a little you can easily find a spot not inundated with towels and umbrellas. Cold Storage Beach is a perfect spot to watch boats of all sizes cruise in and out of the rock jetty entrance to Sesuit Harbor, which lies just west of the beach. Cold Storage is a large beach with calm waters from Cape Cod Bay. If you’re a beach walker, you’ll notice that just down the way a mile or so is another one of Dennis’ beaches, Sea Street Beach.
