FTLauderdale - (miami sister city) has a strip of shops, nightlife, and restaurants on las olas Blvd. Try to take a boat tour cruise in Venice of America as FTLauderdale is the yacht capital! There is also a water taxi that has a stop right across the Sian in the doubletree that you can take directly from Hollywood intracoastal and switch to the FTL line to explore further!

Everglades - most unique area to do only in south Florida, make sure you do the airboat ride that glides over swamp land, you will see plenty of gators in the wild, but it’s safe in the boat.. also most offer an alligator show. It is all the way out west, but there are tourist bus tours that will take you out there on excursion (in broward, holiday park is the closest one, but plenty others out there too)

Wynwood - Miami’s newer tourist spot/hipster area that is def a must see for the numerous wall mural. On every corner there’s another masterpiece, like walking in a city art gallery. Definitely walk thru wynwood walls to see some of the best painted murals anywhere.

The closest grocery to us store is Walmart right across the intracoastal water, it's less than 1/2 mile but you have to walk over the intracoastal bridge.. which can be annoying with a lot of groceries.
