The theater first opened and began showing movies in 1917. It has operated continuously ever since. It is primarily a movie theater but also hosts music events and fundraisers.
The Roman theater is open Monday thru Sunday. Doors open at 6:45 pm and Showtime is 7:15 PM. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online.

Lake Fork Trail - to Sept Morn - is such a beautiful hike and SUPER EASY!! Hardly any elevation change - I don’t know why this is moderate - except for the distance (like 8 miles to Sept Morn at least) But 5 miles to Lost Lake and it’s a pretty little lake. You hike all along the river. And there are so many wonderful places to stop. Be sure to see the waterfall on the right-hand side - about 2 miles in - It’s so pretty and so many people miss it.
