Lovely walks, and have a dip and swim at the Washpool. Historically this pool was used by shepherds to wash their sheep before shearing. Fresh and clean fed from the river Iron

City advice

What to pack

The famous Welsh weather.

Always bring a rain coat and a pair of sturdy shoes to enjoy the lovely Welsh countryside. However when the sun shines, have your sunglasses ready to hand.
Getting around

We are in the countryside

so therefore public transport is limited for exploring the countryside. There are bus routes into the main towns which run from the main car park in the town. We are also on the Heart of Wales railway line which runs between Swansea and Shrewsbury. We can of course offer our guests a shuttle/taxi service for a reasonable fee to cover diesel costs.
Don't miss

River fishing right here.

We have an 150 metre stretch of the river Towy so why not take advantage of some river fishing during your stay. This is subject to registration, licenses and necessary permits.
