Book before you go

Transportation

If you would like to arrange transportation during your stay, we recommend booking travel well in advance of your stay as uber/lyft does not service our area. Lori's Pic-A-Place Travel LLC 540-778-2005 Time 2 Wine Tours. time2winetours.com (540) 705-0954 Yellow Cab of the Shenandoah http://www.taxicabinfrontroyalva.com (540) 622-6060 Colonial Taxi http://colonialtaxiservice.com/ Closest Taxi. What to pack

Food

Grocery Store options are limited for those that are used to the wide selection they have in larger Metropolitan areas. If you are picky about groceries, we recommend buying groceries before you come out. We live in DC and we’ll sometimes go by Whole Foods in Fair Lakes on 66 before going to the cabin.
Customs and culture

SFRPOA Neighborhood

Please me mindful of the full time residents once you enter the Southfork Ranches Nighborhood Entrance. Keep below 15 mph in the neighborhood. There are animals, kids, people hiking Keep the noise level down between 10pm - 6am. It's a friendly community, drive friendly! :) Waive at passing cards. Pull the the side of the road (if possible)and let oncoming cars pass on the gravel road. Keep to the gravel road if exploring the neighborhood. The river front properties are private property
