Activities to Enjoy Around Our House!
In our back yard:
Pool (open June - August) open 24/7

Basketball goal out front- usually have a basketball in the garage you can use-message us if you can’t find one.
Memorial Park (directly across the street). Great place for an early morning jog/walk. You can visit the famous Naismith Memorial here. Naismiths actual grave is located at the very back middle of the graveyard around the tall stone pillar.
Oak Hill Cemetery (take the alley straight across from the garage to the next side street and take a left and then your first right)
We enjoy walking this cemetery at sunset. It has historic graves that were established after Quantrails Rade in 1863ish. We often see deer and fox and an occasional coyote when walking around sunrise.
East Lawrence Rec Center: They have ping pong, foosball, basketball and an outdoor kid park. You can walk here in about 7 minutes. Take a right on 15th and the center is on your left about 3 blocks from our house.
If you follow the path from the rec center into the park there is a skate park. It’s about another 10 minute walk.
