Unfortunately the ferry no longer services the lower ferry stop. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This Ferry stop is a two minute walk, alternating between being the first and last stop, ie. sometimes the ferry goes straight to town and sometimes it reverses to the scenic route, which will take you to two more stops [Hudson's and Salt Kettle]before reaching Hamilton.

bike/car rental

This Is The closest bike/car rental in our area, 1/2 a mile down Valley road. 10 minute walk. The bus stops are located at the bottom of the hill 150 yards from the rental place. Also Paget gas station and the grocery store.[see below]
Oleander Cycles is the closest bike rental place, which is a five minute walk down Valley road. Recently expanded into electric cars too!

Receiving the majority of our cruise ship visitors The Dockyard boasts all sorts of activities, from mini golf to museums, water sports, boat charters, shopping, pharmacy, restaurants and bars. There is also a fast ferry route back and forth to Hamilton{recommended] otherwise it is a 30-40 minute drive from our place.

For a more comprehensive study into things to do in Bermuda, the Bermuda Visitor service center will happily provide you with all you need to know! There is a brand new attraction atop the building, The birdcage bar. this is located right next to the Hamilton ferry stop.

Shelly Bay is a nice family type beach, with a long gentle slope into the ocean. concessions may be on hand , but we recommend carrying your own food and drinks etc..just in case.

This is one of the many forts around the Island, strategically located to guard the eastern channel, the only entrance into our archipelago. Beaches and restaurants nearby. There is also a big tourism project underway, the building of fractional units, and a hotel are taking form right next to the fort.
