This is a small restaurant/bar that can be easily missed due to its narrow footprint and location. It is a part of the building that houses the antique store on the corner of Hunter and Gruene Rd., directly across from Gristmill restaurant. The food here is amazing! Definitely one you won't want to miss.

No trip to New Braunfels is complete without visiting Texas’ oldest dance hall. Gruene Hall was built in 1878 and is where country greats such as George Straight, Hal Ketchum, and Lyle Lovett got their start. Big names and local artists play there regularly.

Sightseeing

A very unique experience in Austin that you can enjoy from a kayak on the river or the sitting area next to the bridge (be sure to bring a blanket to sit on). Watch thousands of bats take flight just before sunset (around 8:20-ish in the summer). It is a unique and family-friendly experience you won't want to miss.
