Winter residence of the Danish royal family. The complex is comprised of 4 buildings with an octagonal courtyard. Make sure to visit this place at 12 when daily change of guards takes place. Also pay attention to the flags at the top of each of the 4 buildings. If the flag is up it means that a part of the Royal Family is at home.

You have seen this place before on a postcard. Once a neighborhood of drunks, and prostitutes has undergone a complete turnaround by 1980s. The lovely pastel coloured old buldings around the canal are full of cafes and restaurants. The restaurants mostly specialize in serving traditional and overpriced danish food.

Baroque church which was constructed in the late 17th century. Famous for its golden spire which will give you a great view of the city. The only way up that spire is outdoor stairs so not something recommended to those afraid of heights.
