Neighborhoods

A neighborhood is part of the experience. Learn about food delivery options, local cafes, parks, grocery stores and even hidden gems to stop by in your spare time.
This very new and upcoming neighborhood is bursting with life and is getting bigger by the day! From the family friendly parks scattered around to the specialty coffee places and the unique cuisines, you will never get bored! The neighborhood has access to three of the main roads of Dubai (MBZ road, Alkhail road and Hessa Street). Through them you can get to anywhere in Dubai between 10 and 20 minutes. That includes close by places like Dubai Marina/ JBR, Mall of The Emirates, Palm Island, Burj Alarab, Miracle Gardens and Global Village which are just 10 minutes away. The Reef Residence corner has a large supermarket called Sprout. It has everything you might need for your daily life needs. It also has Sprouts cafe which offers indoor and outdoor seating areas. You can stop by before you start your busy day for a cup of coffee and some delicious dessert. And for the more international audience, there's Spinney's on the next block. It's an international supermarket that has merchandise from Europe and the states as well as some other parts of the world such as South East Asia and South Africa. A latino corner is also available! Unique Spots: Desert Wok - A Wok restaurant that offers great Chinese dishes. The Seafood Soup is exquisite. The Desert Wok Special Noodles is delicious and come in a generous serving size. They also have wide vegetarian options. Pide Keyfi Turkish Restaurant - Wether you're in the mood for Doner (Turkish Shawarma) or grilled dishes, this is the restaurant to go to. Pide is a Turkish word for pizza and they have delicious turkish pizza that are perfect for ordering in after a long day exploring Dubai. They do offer 10% discount for online ordering. Bakericious! - This bakery/ cafe/ lounge is one of JVC's hidden gems! Try their freshly baked bread, their signature penne arrabiatta or their mouthful strawberry split. you will not be disappointed. Me'aisem City Center - This mall has everything you need. there's food, there are cafes, there are shopping stores and a massive department store (Carrefour). it is right outside the neighborhood. Mosque - There's a beautiful mosque that is almost ready to receive it's visitor (should be ready beginning of January 2020). it is located at the heart of JVC.
