Ok, I love going here for their bargain priced lunch special! Generally 1/2 price (small selection of meals) and the setting is just gorgeous! Small serving sizes, but well worth a visit. Pop in for a swim at the Cairns Lagoon Swimming Pool (free) after lunch (very close to the restaurant)

If you've exhausted the restaurant and cafe strip in Palm Cove and want a great italian dining experience, the L'Unico's overlooking Trinity Beachfront is a great option. Great food, perfect setting. Average prices for the location and food quality and the king prawns in creamy peppercorn sauce is my favorite! L'Unicos is my local restaurant and also a great place for breakfast on the weekend.

Everything Else

Snorkel the reef. Day trips from cruise & dive operators are aplenty:) When you arrive at my apartment, it's a great idea to pop up to the Reception Area of the resort and hand pick some of the (many!) brochures/flyers of things to do (cruise/dive operators etc). Take some of your favorite ones back to your apartment and have a read of what's on offer at what price. Each flyer will have contact details of the tour operator on it. I'd suggest checking out their website in case they're offering a 'special' (common Nov - March, excluding holidays). Generally, you'll only need to give a days notice to get on a cruise out to the 'Reef', but in high season (June - Oct) maybe 2 or 3 days notice req

Getting Around

They pick you up from the airport, take you back to their office 5 mins away to fill out the paperwork and give you your car. Same happens when returning the car (they drop you to the Airport) Please check their hours of operation though (with your flights) as late nights/early mornings are out unfortunately
