Book a canoe trip with the Voyageur Bistro's owner (or through the resort directly) and enjoy this great lake. You won't believe that just a few minutes out of Sun Peaks you can be in such isolation!

Customs and culture
Tap water is safe to drink
Our local tap water is glacier water, completely safe to drink.
Our water is high in calcium and minerals, so if you fill a glass with water from the tap it may appear cloudy for a few seconds until the minerals have settled.

Sunday Farmer's Markets in the Summer
In the summer months (approximately June - September), there is a farmer's market on Sundays from 10am - 2pm.
Most of the vendors sell local handicrafts, but some vendors sell baked goods and fresh local vegetables and fruit.
