Idyllwild has some wonderful restaurants. Many of them are dog friendly, many have music but we suggest you call ahead. Hosting out of town guests is how many businesses thrive in Idyllwild. Try them out! One note I offer is to be patient, service in the mountains is slower and relaxed on purpose. Don't go h'angry. Plan ahead. Enjoy the atmosphere!

Tiny, I mean tiny, vintage candy and ice cream bar shop. Personally I wouldn't leave Idyllwild without having an old fashioned dipped cream bar. Seriously good, well priced. Its the specialty.
