Downtown Westport, while shopping on Westhaven Dr, walk to the very end and you will see the tower. So many cool things to see from up there, grab an ice cream cone and head over. Especially great during storm season!

This is kind of a hidden gem. If you stay on Westhaven Drive downtown and go past the shops, and hang a bit of a right on Neddie Rose Dr past the Groins, you will end up at a round about and you can park and explore. There are a few shops down there and you can walk out on the boat docs as well. It is very neat down there.

If you stay on Westhaven Drive downtown and go past the shops, and hang a bit of a right on Neddie Rose Dr past the Groins, you will end up at a round about and you can park and explore. There are a few shops down there and you can walk out on the boat docs as well. It is very neat down there.
Another great place near the docks to explore. See boats exit and enter the harbor, watch the surfers if the waves are working from a unique angle.

Beaches
Free to park and free to light a fire, enjoy the sand and beach. This can be a steep beach so make sure you watch yourself! Waves and logs can really sneak up on you. This is right before you gat to the State park, so you can park there and walk without paying for parking.

Another great beach, a bit out of town but worth a visit. Very calm and relaxing, away from the ocean waves. Great for getting some sun when Westport is fogged in. A popular beach for bird watching.

This is paid park parking. Paved parking lot, bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. Great for walking the dog, fishing, clam digging and surfing. I recommend going here to watch the surfers, or if you want to surf, rent from The Surf Shop in town and head out!

You can access the beach from here, if you want to get away from the crowd at Westhaven State Park, this is the place for you. Set up a picnic, get your toes sandy and relax/enjoy the ocean beach.
