Weather in Sri Lanka is quite humidity from January - April and then it gets better in May - July. Be prepared for occasional rainfalls during end March - May and again in mid June - July.
Getting around
Best to use cabs to travel within the city
Uber / PickMe or 3-wheeler cabs are available for short distance. Intercity coaches are available on the Galle Highway and takes only 1 hour to get to Galle and Maatara. Intercity train available to travel to Ella with a scenic view (please book in advance).
