The level of its water during the year is significantly oscillated so that it is not a rare year when it completely melts. In those cases, football is at its bottom. During the summer months, there is plenty of water for swimming, and it is not uncommon to play various water sports. Special attention is paid to the quality of water and the neatness of the beach. There is a legend about the posture of this lake called Gavanovi Dvori.

The lake was created by collapsing the vault above the pit. There is a legend about Gavan's court, according to which in the past past the lakes there were yards that had fallen into the ground, and there was a lake there. His name comes from the red rocks on the edge of the lake. On September 28, 2013, new measurements were made with a submarine with a depth of 255 meters. Submarine shooting was made, with a section drawn every 10 meters and drawing the depth. Recording will enable the complete 3D repression of this pit. French speleoronilac Frederic Swierczynski 06.05.2017. he plunged into the Red Lake and became the first man in history to cross the bottom. The dive lasted for four hours

Sightseeing, cultural and historic

Villa Yanko is the perfect starting point to explore some of the natural beauties of that region. And those who are more into sightseeing or night life, will not be disappointed as some of the most beautiful islands of Hvar and Brač are easy to reach from there.
It is located on the coastal slopes of Biokovo mountain above the village of Kotišina, at an altitude of 350 to 500 meters and is an integral part of the Biokovo Nature Park. The botanical garden is not a botanical garden in a classical sense where every plant is introduced according to certain rules but is conceived as a "fenced part of nature" where natural forms of vegetation with self-fertilized flora will be retained. On a relatively small surface of 16.5 ha, there are very diverse habitats such as rocks, cultivated areas and the Prospec Canyon with the same waterfall that is mostly dry during the year, and it rises during heavy rains.

Prokurative (Trg Republike) is a large square situated west of Riva, which is surrounded by Venetian St. Mark's Square, on three sides, surrounded by non-Renaissance boulder buildings, where the square was named after the most people. The square is only open to the south, providing a beautiful view of the Port and the River.  The construction of the Prokurative was initiated in the middle of the 19th century by one of the most prominent mayors in the history of the city Antonio Bajamonti, who wanted to show that Split was all based on Italian traditions. There are also colonnades like Venetian, and reliefs over the windows that invoke ancient and Renaissance influences.

We go to Bačvice, a famous hymn to Split's waterfront, officially opened in 1919. Bacvice is a natural phenomenon, a sandy beach in the heart of the city, to the city harbor, which can accommodate over ten thousand bathers. With the appearance of the spring of Bačvice, Split became Copacabana, where many famous footballers were born, on which the split rugby was born, where picigin is played regularly in summer and winter. Bačvice is today a splitska promenade of all ages, and at night it is the center of youth entertainment.
