The canal path and heritage Trail make a 3.2 mile loop, full of beautiful sites along the Rappahannock River. For more details: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/virginia/heritage-trail-canal-path-loop Turn left on Hanover, left on Kenmore Avenue, right on Williams Street, left on Washington Street and walk past Mary ball Washington’s monument to intercept the canal path and walk the 3.2 mile loop.
