Our beautiful beach.
A relaxing walk along the beach to the river Gauja. Just turn to your right when you come down to the beach and walk till you face the river. The total time spent is approximately 3 hours from the moment you leave home till you are back. You may take the walk at all times of the day, but the very best time is very early in the morning, about 6 am. A really peaceful retreat. Note: the Gauja river has very strong underwater currents. Do not swim in it! It is NOT for swimming, though unbelievably peaceful for the eye.
