Going to the Visafslag (where the fish is bought and sold) is an experience. On Friday mornings early you can view the fishing boats arriving, unloading their fish, how the fish is sorted and bought and sold. Also a great store to buy really fresh fish: Habraken fish store. This is open Monday to Saturday.

A beautiful place to observe birds in the Haringvliet. And the observation hut is spectacular! It is also a beautiful bike ride from the beach house to the Tij.

This village has been completely restored to its former glory as a 17 th century fishing village. Beautiful. Little shops, galleries,cafes and restaurants and wonderful old houses surrounding the old harbour.
