The Nut Tree (2.5 miles/4 km drive or a 1.5 hour walk through fields and road) is a Michelin starred pub with excellent (but pricey!) food. We think it is a lovely "special treat" sort of place.

The Abingdon Arms (6 miles/9.5 km drive or a wonderful 1-2 hour/3 miles/5 km +/- walk across Otmoor and the RSPB reserve) is a community-owned pub with a great atmosphere, good food and a beautiful view across Otmoor. They have a pizza oven and do takeaways. The new outside space is very well done.
