Neighborhoods

The best of Philly! A little bit artsy, a little bit grungy, a little bit bougie, a little bit hood, and a little bit metropolitan. Great restaurants and bars and very family friendly.

The 'Park Avenue' of Philadelphia. Gourmet restaurants, fancy hotels, and bustling traffic. It's the priciest real estate in town and only about a 5 minute walk from our home!

City advice

Travelling solo

Local "Bus Fare Scam"

Walking around you may run into people who say they lost their wallet and only need $5 to $20 to catch a bus. Ignore these people. They are always there and always have the same story. Many of them aren't even homeless.
Don't miss

South Street

Our place is near 16th and South. South Street is one of the most vibrant and historic parts of Philly. If you're down for a walk, head east down to the 3rd and South area (about 15 minute walk). There you'll find tons of arts, culture, music, and libations! It's definitely one of the most vibrant parts of the city.
