Awesome brunch menu and the food is delicious. There might be a little wait but I think it's worth it.

If you like Indian food, this place is awesome. I recommend the lunch buffet for the price. But during COVID they are not serving the buffet but have created a special to-go buffet style dish for a good price.

Sightseeing

You are not that far away from the famous Blue Ridge Mountains. You can google "Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway" and take a nice slow scenic ride if you have several hours to burn. Picnic places are not that hard to find just off the two lane road. In fact, you can mark “hike the Appalachian Trail” off your bucket list by finding that specific trail in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Cole Mountain via Appalachian Trail: Jefferson National Forest - Cole Mountain easily ranks highly amongst favorite areas in Jefferson National Forest primarily for its stunning sunrise hikes. The 1490 foot peak is what makes the trip.

This hike is not as steep as Sharp Top but it's still a good hike that will get the blood flowing.

Ummmm. It's Monticello. Go. It's historic. It's Thomas Jefferson at his best. ;-) But seriously, if you are a history buff, this is a must. It's a little over an hour drive. Notably, his summer home is right here locally.

There are only two complexes in the world like this one. You can “ski” or “snowboard” on this viscous surface any day of the year. It’s pretty awesome.
