Getting around

The tramway is one of the best in the world, very safe, clean and easy to use. Find the stop down.

Connecting to Dubai metro which is as well one of the best in the world. Clean, safe, easy to use.
What to pack

Most of the year, Dubai enjoys an average temperature of 30 degrees celsius.

No heavy jacket required, still take a light jacket and a light scarf with you in case you stay late at night in winter month. Sometimes windy, brings the temperatures down to 22 degrees celsius.

Avoid to go out half dressed, but i believe this is not typical to Dubai only. If you go to visit religious sites, dress conservative as anywhere else in the world.

A very cosmopolitan city, everyone speaks english, but if you wish to learn some arabic words, local population will gladly teach you few.

Depending on what you are looking for, the city has a lot to offer.

Down the building, you will find plenty of places to socialise, from the beach, restaurants, mall, public transport, bars, beach clubs.

Very easy to move around with kids and find activities for them.

Depending on the kid's age, you will have plenty of choices for them, from roller coster parks, to karting tracks, birthday's specialised facilities, bowling, golfing, indoor gaming centres.
