Coffee House

Many of our guests have made the Coffee House part of their regular morning routine while staying with us. It's a short walk from Swan Manor especially when the weather is nice. They have a great assortment of coffees from all over the world, as well as teas. They also make great breakfast & lunch sandwiches.

Families with kids

On weekends they have all kinds of entertainment for kids. From face painting, climbing structures, pony rides, moonwalks, a train that takes riders through orchards where you can pick your own apples, peaches, pears & pumpkins. They also have a country store with homemade pies & cookies. They just added a brew pub where visitors can sample their different beers. This year they have added an evening concert series as well as an outdoor Brunch on the weekends. Its best to call ahead to see what's going on the day you plan to go.

History

Salam, MA was settled in 1626 and was one of the most significant seaports in early American history. This is where the "Salem Witch Trials" took place in the 1600's Although especially interesting during the month of October when Goast Tours, Haunted Houses and the month long Salem Witch Festival takes place, there are all kinds of events going on all year. Take the commuter rail from downtown Natick to Salem for a scentic ride that avoids the traffic.
