McMenamins is dear to us in the Pacific Northwest. we are not beer drinkers but chose to get the Passport, andif you are in for discovery and adventure, going to explore Portland, Washington and Oregon, learn history, eat, try their experiences and go stamp crazy, this is for you! Most properties are renovated historical sites, rich and odd architecture and generally relaxed, pub and neighborhood friendly. The experience is amazing!

We love the 4th of July fireworks, events, cardboard boat races and concert series, all hosted by local food booths with foodie specialties and fun!

1199 W Kessler Blvdit is just down the road with beautiful landscaping, kayaking, summer concerts and tons of local special events. Nice if you walk or jog, or just picnic. We take our Grandkids here and yes, ride the slides a time or two. it's at Exit 88, and we are at exit 36A, so it's a short ride,and can save tons of your budget with extra fun! their is something for everyone, and it is open year round, I have heard Christmas there is spectacular!

Everything is amazing! We go in starving and immediately are served warm bean dip with fresh warm tortilla chips, and they have a great salsa bar. The service is excellent, and the main course is authentic and oversized, go hungry :-)

Golf Courses we enjoy
Butch and I enjoy going golfing or just hitting a bucket of balls for fun. Three Rivers Golf Course is close by, as well as Mint valley for all skill levels. Lewis River Golf Course is right on well, on Lewis River, as .most golfers already know, if you go looking for the water, you will find the water!
Across the Longview Bridge there a a few courses as well, and that is a 15 minute or so drive that search engines can help you explore!
