This is a good beach to go enjoy the sand and sea when in kinsale. From this beach you can walk up to James’ Fort for a look around. The fort is usually open for public access on the weekends so you can wondering around inside. At the end of your day you can go for a drink and a pack of crisps in the Dock Bar, just be aware they do not accept Credit/Debit cards there. Also please note James fort area is a very popular dog walking area
