Beaches, Beach walks and Cityparts

Beaches and cities - they are all the same basically, since it's all by the beach. You can both be on the beach and in the city here.
The old fishing village turned into a touristic area - the best of both worlds. Old restaurants, a fishing harbour and a splendid beach. Spectacular location with narrow streets and the gigantc cliffs nearby, a must visit-place if you visit southern Tenerife.

Sightseeing

Guess why they are called "Los Gigantes" - you guessed right - they are gigantic! Tenerife is a volcanic island - the western part of the island "fell apart" a couple of years ago (read: many) and these gigantic cliffs were left for us to spectate. Take a boat tour here or go by car/bus!

It's a volcano - need we say more? This beast built the entire island - she's worth a visit! During a day of good weather you can see all the neighboring islands from this queen of the heights. Travel by car, bus or why not hike up here (remember that she's the highest mountain in Spain though: 3 718 m)!

Matkultur

You went all the way to Tenerife and then you visit the SWEDISH church?! Well the Swedish church at the southern tip of Tenerife was actually here way back in the days. Swedes started travelling to Tenerife early on - rehabilitational trips to access the good climate - so the Swedish church also went along. Well worth a visit if not only for the beautiful "eternal summer"-church so for the Swedish food - meatballs or waffles?
