A must if you are a football or cricket enthusiast. The oval conducts rooftop climbs at a price of course. Get there early to get a seat if you have general admission . Best to take a freebie bus every 15 minutes if you are heading off to the football just show your pass.

Soon to be extended ,claiming some of the old Adelaide hospital site.Also located next to Adelaide wine centre.

A short walk to this enclosed Japanese garden in the south parklands. Its not very big but if you are visiting the nearby hospitals it is worth a stroll.

This is our closest park ,an old racecourse but converted for recreation. It is also used for the Clipsal race in March . There is also an easy access to the suburb Dulwich with a walking track/bikepath

A beautiful gully walk with numerous levels of walking . Often used by rock climbers . Koalas are abundant . It is possible to get public transport to this park as it is 20 minutes from the city centre.

A great hiking trail which starts at Waterfall Gully carpark to the top of Mount Lofty.Steep in the last section but worth the views. It can get busy on the weekends.This trail crosses over with many other walking trails that criss cross the Adelaide Hills.Another favourite for when you want the coolness of a gully is Chambers Gully accessed also from Waterfall Gully road. If you have a car this hike is only a few minutes away.
