Sightseeing

One of my favourite walks especially at sunrise which is also a great time to get parking, any time after lunch and the car park is absolutely full and if you do arrive and the car park is full do not try to park on the side of the road unless you are planning on getting your car stuck!

The Bioda Buidhe (which is Gaelic for yellow pointed top) is on the other side of the car park from the Quiraing. Nice easy 3km walk which gives you fantastic views of the trotternish ridge when your at the top

One of the most iconic landscapes on Skye, best to view the rock formation coming from portree. The walk itself is mostly on a path, views from the top are spectacular

My favourite place on Skye! It’s the most northern point of the island, great for spotting sea birds and sea life and it’s the best spot for watching a fantastic sunset

The fairy pools don’t need an introduction, the name itself describes the magical place that it is. Clear water pools and rives that almost look blue. Fantastic place for some wild swimming. The walk to the pools themselves is not a long walk but if you carry on past the pools toward s the cullins the water turns even more blue
