City advice

Getting around

Traffic and security

**Be prepared for traffic jams. Rush hours are 7:00-9:00 and 17:00 - 19:00. Spare 20 more minutes for important journeys such as to the airport. ** Vietnam is a country with top security. However, foreigners carrying shoulder bags, cameras or mobile phones are an easy target for people riding motorbikes and scooters, so being aware of your surroundings and your possessions is wise.
