Less than 30 mins away by public transport from the nearby Woolwich Arsenal station, Stratford shopping centre has lots of shopping and restaurants to explore for a day. You should definitely see the Olympic stadium which is 5 mins walk away.

This is 25 mins away from nearby Woolwich Arsenal station and has a little bit of everything; you can shop and find discounts at the outlets which has a lot of good brands like Calvin Klein, Ted Baker and Tommy Hilfiger before having lunch at one of the many restaurants there. You can also check to see if there is concert going on and go there for the night! If you have time you should take the emirates airways cable cars to see a beautiful view of all of London.

A short 20 min bus journey away, you can spend a whole day walking or having a picnic in the massive Greenwich Park, go to the Cutty Sark or maritime museum nearby before visiting the Greenwich Maritime Institute which shows the GMT line from where the worlds time zones start. I recommend going on the weekend when there is a local market nearby to pick up souvenirs

A short 20 min bus journey away, you can spend a whole day walking or having a picnic in the massive Greenwich Park, go to the Cutty Sark or maritime museum nearby before visiting the Greenwich Maritime Institute which shows the GMT line from where the worlds time zones start. I recommend going on the weekend when there is a local market nearby to pick up souvenirs
You can get here by getting the 96 bus - this will take 30 mins and you can then spend your time shopping and going to the restaurants or cinemas. This is the biggest shopping centre in the UK so everyone can find something to buy here
