City advice

Getting around

Use the Monorail!

The Monorail is convenient way to traverse the length of the Strip. Don’t try and walk it in the summer heat. It’s 11 miles long!
What to pack

Stay Hydrated!

Dehydration sneaks up on you in the high desert. It’s very important to always bring water with you! And then bring extra water too.
Customs and culture

Stay Safe!

Las Vegas can be a dangerous city and especially the Strip. Always be aware of your surroundings.
Book before you go

State and National Parks

Book tours in advance for destinations such as Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire State Park and Death Valley National Park. These parks are remote, off grid and have no cellular access or internet connection. Conditions are harsh and very hot with a significant amount of walking/hiking involved to see all the sightseeing activities. Stay hydrated!
Book before you go
