On a good day, Lyall Bay is a nice beach. Surf if the weather is right,..you can rent boards at Real Surf...or flat as a pancake some days for an easy paddle (for the brave...the water is cold!). Lots of cafe options. In the Wellington Southerly take a coat and enjoy the refreshing feeling of the wind in your hair!

Take an East West ferry from Seatoun wharf to visit Days Bay. You can hike the hills or sit on the beach or lunch at the cafe. Return to CBD or Seatoun via ferry . Watch for little blue penguins in the water!
