Golden Co

Home of the Coors brewery which offers tours. There is a river walk and a historic settlement site to visit for free. About 6 miles west of where you are staying. Sits right in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Buffalo Bill Codys museum and Buriel site. Home of the National Renewable Energy Lab. (NREL)
Walk to this one via 41st street. Not quite a mile through a nice neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and local shops. One of my favorite places to go for watching sports is the Atomic cowboy which has awesome pizza and a full bar.

Between Irving( Speer Blvd) and Perry st This is where the original Chipolte restaurant is located. The Matador restaurant /bar has great food and drinks deals at Happy Hour. Mead Street station and the El Camino are good too.

Best Burgers at the small CHEAPSKATES bar..but it can be loud and noisy on Grandview st. There is a shop there that offers a zillion boxed cereals on their menu. There is also an ice cream/candy shop that has all the old favorites like slowpoke suckers and giant jawbreakers and mary janes.

Main area is between 38th and 44th and Harlan and Wadsworth. Really close on 38th is the Bardo Coffee shop, Clancys Irish Pub, Colorado Brew Pub + and Frans Cafe. Highly recommend the Co Brew Pub and the Pizza Joint across the street. If you go to the CBP+ Mention to the owner( "E that I said hello. He calls me "E" also.
