Amazing coffee. This is one of my favourite coffees in this area. Their banana bread is the best. Friendly staff. And if you are lucky enough to meet the Owner Nick - he is just wonderful.

A wonderful restaurant for families and couples. Very kid friendly. They can watch pizza being made in the large oven and the kids pizza comes out shaped like a rabbit! I recommend the stuffed olives and the Italian beer on tap.

It is my favourite place for a cocktail. The view over the water is to die for and if you get there ready for sunset it is amazing. They also do happy hour on some days and you can get nibbles / bar food with your drinks.

Wanting somewhere with calm water close to restaurants and coffee shops, then Gympie Terrace is wonderful. It is a great place for the kids to play in the sand and water. An array of coffee stores, boutiques, restaurants and other shops are all along the street. Wonderful place to visit for the day.

Located only 15 minutes from the home, Yandina is a buzzing little town now. It has the Ginger Factory which is amazing for kids to visit as they can ride the train. It has great little stores and on Saturdays the markets.

For toddlers and smaller kids, this is an awesome gated water park for them. Views over the river, but fenced to the river. Small grass area to sit and a couple of picnic benches. Nice way to cool off in the hot months. Afterwards you can grab fish and chips at Noosa Harbour Town.

Ubers in this area are most of the time really easy to get. They can be there in 10 minutes, but I would recommend leaving around 30 minutes to be sure. On some nights they can be busy covering a large area of the coast, so just to be sure make sure you leave time.
