One of my favorite restaurants, and it's locally owned! Enjoy tapas - as good as I had in Spain, no joke - and great cocktails! Outdoor seating available both on the sidewalk and on a covered patio.

My FAVORITE restaurant in the city! Think tapas with a Southern soul food twist. Excellent wine list, and wine flights are a great way to try several!

A beautiful old distillery just outside of downtown. Take a distillery tour without the typical 45 min-1hr drive to Bardstown/Frankfort. Makers of Bulleit and Weller bourbons!

NOT a distillery but a great experience and tour of one of the original sites of Louisville's historic distilleries. Tastings at the end of the tour, and a great way to learn about Louisville's bourbon history!

Drinks & Nightlife

Low-key and casual - not a fancy cocktail bar. Beers and basic drinks. Live music every night! On weekends there are typically two - one inside in the main bar, one outside on the patio. Great place to mingle.

The Speed Museum has many rotating exhibits and recently underwent a year-long, multi-million dollar renovation. Free admission on Sundays! Located on the University of Louisville's campus, this is a great stop on a rainy day, or if you want to also walk around gorgeous Old Louisville which is adjacent to campus.

Parks & Nature

Designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted who also designed Central Park in New York City, the Cherokee/Seneca Park system is one of the largest in the United States. There are areas for everything - tennis, a golf course, Dog Hill, walking/running trails, spray ground, or just plenty of open space for hanging out with a picnic or book.
